Indira Kaljo
 Founder and President

Indira Kaljo was born in Bosnia and Hercegovina, moving to the United States at the age of 6. She graduated with a sociology degree, minoring in Public Health. She holds a Masters in Science with an Emphasis in Physical Education.

Indira’s passions are playing basketball, traveling, reading, and spending time with family.  Her love for NGO work began from a young age as she was inspired to volunteer and give a helping hand by her late mother, Almadina and entire family. She dreamt of founding her own NGO for many years. Indira believes  many global issues can be solved through education, sport, engagement, and empowerment of children and women.

Fahira Brodlija
Legal and Logistics Advisor

Legal and logistics advisor, Fahira Brodlija was born in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina. She holds a law degree from Sarajevo Law School, focusing primarily on international law and human rights. She will complete her Masters at Pittsburg University School of Law.

Her passions include basketball and education and believes the combination of the two are ideal for empowering young women. Fahira’s goal is to enable as many girls as possible to have access to education and sports, giving them an opportunity to become successful contributing members of society InshaAllah.

Azra Andy Sehic
Director of USA Chapter   

Azra Andy Sehic is a Director of USA Chapter for Global Aktvine. In past, she served as our Treasurer and Health Coach. She has been NGO advocate, volunteer and board member throughout her life, where she gained lots of experience networking. That is where she was able to show her talents, skills and creativity while giving a helping hand to causes and project by building a team effort, something that her late sister Alamdina thought her.  She became an Elite Master B.E.S.T. practitioner in 2012,  Certified B.E.S.T. practitioner since 2007, and Animal B.E.S.T. practitioner, 2011. Azra’s favorite quote is “Be the change you wish to see in this world” by Mahatma Gandhi. She truly lives her life by this quote and inspires women to live a healthy and fulfilling life.
