Our Helping Hands program would like to announce that Khaled, 16 year old Syrian boy who lost his hand in an explosion lead the way yesterday to the clinic where he will receive a prosthetic hand in Sha Allah.

A huge thank you to the Syrian Expatriate Medical Association (SEMA) for collaborating with us to give Khaled a helping hand in order to change his life for the better in Sha Allah.

Thank you to our donor who funded the entire trip, Jazak Allah Khair. Our very our member, Fahira Brodlija joined the family and his teacher, Ms. Mona on the trip. All went well and we are patiently waiting to see his new hand.
