kamalBismillah. For our 15th day of “women inspire generations series,” today we have chosen a fighter; a woman who has broken all limits and barriers: Dr. Naglaa M. Kamal.

Dr Naglaa is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Hepatology at Faculty of medicine, Cairo University, Egypt. She is a Consultant Pediatric Heptology and Gastroenterology at Al-Hada Armed Forces Hospital, Taif, KSA. She had her M.B.B.Ch degree of medicine, in 1997 from Faculty of medicine, Cairo University with an excellent graduation grade with honor and accumulative rank of 33 out of 1200. She passed her master degree in 2001 with excellence and was ranked the first. She got her MD degree on 2005.

Being the mother of two twin daughters had never stopped her from achieving the ultimate success. She is teaching many courses for under-graduate and post-graduate students in the faculty of medicine, Cairo (Egypt) and Taif (KSA) universities with a lot of researches and about 40 international publications on Pubmed and other highly cited medical sites. Her researches were cited and used as references by researchers in many medical research papers.

She is currently a member in many medical committees including a EGSPGHAN (the Egyptian Society of Pediatric Hepatology Gastroenterology and Nutrition), SASPGHAN (the Saudi Arabia Society of Pediatric Hepatology Gastroenterology and Nutrition), the Egyptian society of Pediatrics and the Egyptian society of liver diseases.
